Domestic Tour Operators Association of Kashmir (DTOAK) holds Roadshow in Bhubaneswar

JK Hoteliers to offer 30%, Tour Operators 20% & Houseboats up to 50% discount
Jammu and Kashmir is known as ‘Paradise on Earth’ and is famous among the travel lovers in India and abroad. Domestic Tour Operators Association of Kashmir (DTOAK), in collaboration with J&K Tourism has made a fresh invitation to the tourists of Odisha to explore the scenic region. Every visitor is thus offered a special discount which was announced here at a road show on Thursday.
Gracing the occasion Ms. Nuzhat Gul, Managing Director, Golf Course, J&K Tourism said, “Today we chose Bhubaneswar, the soul of Incredible India in order to gain confidence and support from the people of Odisha in helping us revive tourism in Kashmir”.
The road show aims to invite people of Odisha to experience the real hospitality of Kashmir and see it in a new light. “We firmly believe that Kashmir is the safest tourist destination for men, women and children”, she adds.
“J&K is waiting to host tourists from Odisha. On your arrival, our hoteliers shall offer you over 30% discount while the tour operators will offer 20%. Interestingly, the houseboats, which are key attractions of the region are ready to offer you up to 50% discount”, informs Mr. Hamid Wangnoo, President, (DTOAK). The offer is valid throughout 2020. It will also be valid for the tour operators from Odisha.
Mr. Hemakanta Say, Managing Director, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) joined the event as Chief Guest. DTOAK organized the event with support from Odisha Tourism and the tourism stakeholders of Odisha.
While at J&K visitors can explore historical gardens and hill stations like Yusmarg, Sonamarg, Pahalgam, Gulmarg. One can also engage in adventure and sports activities like springs, rafting, eco friendly tour, golf, paragliding, local sightseeing, trekking, water skiing etc. Pilgrimage hubs like Mata Vaishno Devi & Shri Amarnathji, Kheer Bhawani are also featured vividly in the road show.
Lesser known destinations in the state of Jammu and Kashmir like Kashtiward, Bhaderwah, Doodhpathri, Gurez & Bangus valley etc are also being advertised for those looking to explore these destinations. Also the hospitality sector provides accommodation in houseboats which are unique, novel & part of the state’s heritage.
The Domestic tour operators association of Kashmir (DTOAK) has been keenly involved with the promotion of tourism and its members are actively participating in various travel and trade fairs being organized in different parts of country time to time.
