The Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar on Friday notified that it had increased connectivity from Bhubaneswar to three metro cities – New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
“The increased connectivity will ensure smooth and reduced travelling time for passengers from the eastern part of India to other sectors of the country,” BPIA said in a tweet.

Indigo has resumed flights to Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Chennai. Air India has restarted its operations to New Delhi and Mumbai, while Vistara is flying to New Delhi from Bhubaneswar. Air Asia is flying to New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
The airport resumed services on May 25 after two months of shutdown.
