Preparations have reached the final stages for the grand opening of the five-day-long ‘Make In Odisha Conclave 2022’ at the Janata Maidan ground in Bhubaneswar on November 30.

The flagship biannual investors’ summit of the Govt of Odisha, which enters the third edition this year, will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday (November 30). The gala event will continue till December 4.

The entire venue, admeasuring 20,000 sq metres, has been decked up for the marquee event which is being organized in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI). As many as 9 countries have reportedly confirmed their participation at the event.

While Japan, Germany and Norway will be the Country Partners at the industrial carnival, business delegations from six more countries, including Singapore, Australia and Nepal will be attending the event. Japan was the Country Partner in the previous (second) edition of the conclave in 2018.

The dressed up venue will be having an exhibition centre, plenary hall, five session halls, Chief Minister’s lounge, media lounge, food court, a grand stage to host various cultural events and a massive international pavilion for partnering countries and foreign delegations. Two anamorphic screens and six pods at the venue will continuously display thematic videos depicting the state’s industrial growth, culture and heritage for the consumption of the audience, guests and delegates who will converge from different parts of the country and abroad.

On November 30, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the event. This will be followed by the plenary session by the CM, session on Start Up Odisha, session on Skilled-in-odisha, sectoral deliberations & sessions on emerging sectors, thematic sessions on women SHGs and School Transformation in Odisha, in the subsequent days, till December 3. The last day (December 4) will be having exhibition, mega cultural event and food court which will be open for the public.
