Centurion University has joined hands with national PSU GAIL to set up telehealth kiosks in all 7 of it’s rural campuses across Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The aim of the kiosks is to benefit the rural poor who lack access to quality healthcare in the vicinity.
Through these kiosks, the people can consult doctors, do diagnostic testing, get medicines and opt for a second opinion at a nominal cost. This facility can be availed online also.
Mr. N. Nandhagopal, Independent director GAIL India said, “We believe telehealth solution can help by realigning resource priorities and holds the potential to spread primary diagnostic assessment more evenly across the state. We are excited at the opportunity to work with the team in providing solutions to such issues. We aim to deliver an affordable commercial healthcare solution.”
