Scholarships aim to nurture India’s future leaders by providing financial support and development opportunities to talented youth

Reliance Foundation invites applications for the academic year 2024-25 scholarship program, to identify, support and mentor 5,100 undergraduate and postgraduate students nationwide.
It is offering scholarships to first-year undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in full-time degree courses at Indian institutions. The program provides financial assistance to support students in pursuing their academic and professional goals.
Undergraduate scholarships will be awarded to 5,000 students, selected based on academic merit and financial need. This support enables students to complete their undergraduate degrees without financial burden.
100 students pursuing courses in Engineering, Technology, Energy, and Life Sciences disciplines will receive postgraduate scholarships, selected on the basis of academic merit and aptitude. The scholarships will cover the full duration of the degree programs.
The program provides financial assistance of up to Rs. 2 lakhs for undergraduate and Rs. 6 lakhs for postgraduate students. Additionally, the program offers mentorship and career guidance from industry experts, access to professional development opportunities like workshops and seminars, leadership development programs, and community engagement initiatives. These components aim to support students’ academic, personal, and professional growth.
Reliance Foundation focuses on education initiatives, spanning early childhood to higher education. In December 2022, marking Dhirubhai Ambani’s 90th birth anniversary, Nita Ambani announced the foundation’s plan to provide 50,000 additional scholarships over the next decade. To date, 5,100 students have received scholarships annually as part of this initiative.
Till date, Reliance has provided over 23,000 higher education scholarships.
Former Reliance Foundation Scholars through the mentoring and exposure from the Scholarships have embarked on rewarding careers and academic and professional journeys. The current launch offers a similar opportunity for a new group of talented students to access these resources and support.
Students can apply online through www.scholarships.reliancefoundation.org. The selection criteria for the undergraduate student include an evaluation of aptitude and economic background. For the postgraduate scholarships, academic achievements, personal statements, and interviews are part of a competitive selection process to select top talent from across India.
The deadline for applications is 6th October 2024.
