Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo has affirmed that the “government is fully prepared” to address any challenges posed by the impending landfall of severe cyclonic storm ‘Dana’. In a statement to a news agency, he emphasized that all relevant departments and personnel are positioned to respond effectively.
He stated, “The government is ready. All concerned departments are in place, and the officers and staff from various sectors are equipped to manage any situation that may arise.”
Furthermore, he remarked, “Every department, including the Chief Minister, Urban Minister, and Revenue Minister, is fully aware of the circumstances, and we are implementing all necessary measures at the ground level. Instead of instilling fear among the populace, our focus should be on proactive engagement and ensuring justice for the citizens.”
