Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to make two visits to Odisha in January, as announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday. The Prime Minister will participate in the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention, scheduled to take place from January 8 to 10, as well as the Utkarsh Odisha conclave on January 27 and 28.
Since the BJP government assumed office on June 12, Modi has visited the state three times this year. His initial visit was for the swearing-in ceremony of the Majhi administration, followed by a return on September 17 for the launch of the Subhadra Yojana. His most recent visit occurred on November 29, during which he attended the DGP and IG conference, spending three days in the state and engaging with party leaders at the BJP headquarters.
