Majhi indicated that there is no requirement to seek approval from the relevant empowered committees for the recruitment of Group-B positions. He also called for the reconstitution of the empowered committee currently operating within the Finance department to ensure it includes representatives from the Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities department, thereby overseeing the selection and reservation for the recruitment of persons with disabilities (PwDs).To assist candidates from the undivided Koraput district, the Chief Minister proposed the establishment of an OPSC examination center in Jeypore. Currently, the OPSC operates five examination centers.
