On the eve of the Utkarsh Odisha – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar, CM Mohan Charan Majhi delivered a speech, emphasizing the state’s emerging role as a key player in India’s industrial landscape. He expressed gratitude to the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) for their partnership as the national industry partner for this significant event. The CM highlighted that Odisha is on the rise, aiming to become a preferred destination for both domestic and global investors. In his address, he outlined a three-pronged approach to achieve this vision. First, substantial resources have been allocated for developing robust industrial infrastructure, ensuring world-class facilities for companies wishing to set up operations in Odisha. Second, the government has championed ease of doing business by streamlining regulatory processes to expedite industrial approvals and clearances, facilitating smoother operations for investors. Third, he emphasized the need for large-scale job creation, focusing not only on infrastructure but also on investing in the people of Odisha to generate quality employment opportunities.
The Chief Minister reiterated his commitment to transparency and accountability, inviting investors to engage with the government regarding their success stories and challenges. He stressed that industrialization in Odisha transcends mere investment; it is fundamentally about empowering the local workforce with skills and support.
Looking ahead, he encouraged attendees to view Odisha as a strategic partner in their growth journey, assuring them of unwavering support at every stage of their investment endeavors.
