Startup Odisha has launched the ‘X-Change Programme’ and ‘Launchpad 2025’ to strengthen the state’s startup ecosystem. These initiatives focus on collaboration, innovation, and capacity building among incubators.

In a significant effort to strengthen the startup ecosystem, Startup Odisha, operating under the MSME Department of the Government of Odisha, has introduced two important initiatives — the ‘X-Change Programme’ and ‘Launchpad 2025: Incubator Induction and Capacity Building Programme’.
The event took place at the Odisha Startup Incubation Centre (O-Hub) in Bhubaneswar, with the objective of promoting innovation, collaboration, and capacity building among incubators throughout the state. The ‘X-Change Programme’ functioned as a unique platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration, uniting incubators recognized by Startup Odisha. Aimed at improving ecosystem alignment and enhancing institutional capacity, the programme motivated incubators to collaboratively develop a more inclusive and future-oriented startup landscape.
At the same time, nine newly recognized incubators were officially welcomed into the Startup Odisha network as part of the Launchpad 2025 initiative. The incubators include: IIM Sambalpur, I-Hub Foundation, Sambalpur University Startup Forum, OASME Council for Engineering and Technology, Dasari Vikash Rural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Foundation, Centurion Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Facilitation Centre, CVRCE Technology Incubator Foundation, Crucible Innovation Forum, NIST Incubation Foundation, and GITA Incubation Foundation.
During the event, Rajesh Kumar Adla, the CEO of AIC T-Hub, along with Kamaljit Das, OAS(S), Joint Secretary of the MSME Department, provided valuable insights on creating effective incubation strategies and promoting collaboration across institutions.
Hemant Sharma, the Additional Chief Secretary of the MSME Department and Chairman of Startup Odisha, has been instrumental in advancing the growth of Odisha’s startup ecosystem.
The incubators that participated expressed their gratitude to Startup Odisha for organizing such initiatives, which equip them with practical knowledge and resources for capacity building and innovation-driven development.
