The Samruddha Odisha 2036 Conclave has successfully concluded, being recognized as a dynamic exhibition of entrepreneurial spirit and a step towards establishing a prosperous, resilient, and innovation-oriented Odisha. The event received accolades for promoting collaborations, generating real-time business opportunities, and showcasing the state’s rapidly increasing investment appeal.

Prabodh Mohanty, President of the Utkal Chamber Of Commerce & Industry Limited (UCCIL), presided over the valedictory session and provided significant remarks, crediting the conclave’s “remarkable success” to the joint efforts and the vision of the leadership.

The valedictory session was honored by the presence of Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment, Anu Garg, Development Commissioner, and Vishal Kumar Dev, Principal Secretary, Electronics & IT and Energy Department.

“The Samruddha Odisha Conclave was a dynamic exhibition of entrepreneurial spirit, promoting collaborations and generating real-time business opportunities,” Dr. Mohanty remarked. He highlighted the considerable momentum already created by prior initiatives, stating, “Investment interest in Odisha is rapidly increasing—evident from the ₹17 lakh crore of investment intent received at the Utkarsh Odisha Conclave. Over ₹2 lakh crore worth of projects have already been initiated with active government support.”

The success of the conclave, under the guidance of Dr. Mohanty and the UCCIL leadership, has emphasized their dedication to establishing Odisha as a globally competitive investment hub.

The two-day conclave saw the involvement of over 500 leaders from various sectors, including industry, government, academia, financial institutions, and the startup ecosystem.

Prominent speakers from organizations such as HAL, ABI-Showatech, Adani Ports, SIDBI, NIST, ESSAR, IREL, IPICOL, and CTTC engaged in discussions on vital areas, such as manufacturing excellence, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, semiconductor prospects, agriculture and food processing, mining and critical minerals, as well as skill development.

A significant aspect of the closing ceremony was the recognition of winners from different student competitions conducted during the conclave, who were awarded cash prizes, highlighting young talent and innovation.

During their closing remarks, the UCCIL leadership expressed appreciation to all partners, participants, and stakeholders, emphasizing that the conclave represents not merely an event but a movement. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Dr. Brahma Mishra, Chairman of the Organising Committee for Samruddha Odisha-2036.
