Founded in 2015 by Siddheshwar Panda, it emerged from a strong entrepreneurial vision to build a scalable and innovation-led home décor brand.

While pursuing BTech at KIIT University, Panda identified the growing potential of customised interior solutions and made the strategic decision to transition from academics into entrepreneurship full-time. The defining moment for MagicDecor came during the COVID-19 period, when Panda collaborated with two other investors as Co-founders, and identified a major gap in India’s home décor market. While global markets had already embraced wallpapers as a mainstream interior solution, India’s wallpaper penetration remained at just 1.3%. Recognising the lack of personalisation and innovation in the sector, MagicDecor set out to build a modern, customer-centric décor brand focused on customisation, creativity, and technology-driven experiences. Their philosophy was simple yet powerful: every customer should have the freedom to transform their own ideas into customised décor experiences.

Building Experience Beyond A Brand
MagicDecor positioned itself beyond a traditional product company by creating an experience-led home décor platform. Instead of offering fixed catalogues, the company enabled customers to transform their own ideas into personalised wallpaper and décor solutions. Over time, the portfolio expanded from wallpapers to blinds, curtains, canvas décor, and customized interior products, all designed using premium European materials adapted for Indian conditions.

The Turning Point
For several years, growth remained slow and challenging. Despite relentless efforts, the company struggled to cross even ₹1 Crore in annual revenue. However, the post-pandemic era became a defining chapter in the company’s journey. As homeowners increasingly focused on upgrading living spaces, the company strategically doubled down on customized wallpaper solutions. The result was rapid business growth—from struggling below ₹1 Crore revenue to crossing ₹5.7 Crore turnover in 2022. Today, MagicDecor operates at an annualized run rate of nearly ₹15 crore and is targeting ₹30 crore in FY 27, with a long-term vision of building a ₹1000 Crore global décor brand.

From Odisha To Worldwide Homes
What started as a small venture in Odisha has evolved into a rapidly scaling national and international brand. In the last five years, MagicDecor has delivered products and services to over 50,000 homes across India and global markets. Every month, thousands of customers across India receive customised décor solutions through the company’s rapidly expanding digital-first ecosystem. From a one-person startup, the company has now grown into an organisation of 500+ team members, serving customers through a strong digital-first and service-driven ecosystem. The company’s services are now available not only throughout India but also internationally, with expansion plans actively targeting markets such as Dubai and other global regions.

One of MagicDecor’s most defining strengths is its technology-driven approach toward customer engagement and education. The company extensively uses advanced technologies and artificial intelligence to improve customer experiences, personalise recommendations, and simplify décor decision-making. The collaboration not only validated the company’s business model but also accelerated its expansion into new Indian and international markets. With Pidilite’s support, MagicDecor is now strengthening its position as a scalable and globally competitive home décor brand.
