Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati urges people to discover Odisha’s rich culture, heritage, and traditions at Bharat Parv 2025 in Gujarat

On Saturday, Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati extended an invitation to individuals nationwide to delve into the rich cultural heritage of Odisha during his address at the Bharat Parv-2025 celebrations, which took place near the Statue of Unity in Ekta Nagar, located in Gujarat’s Narmada district.
In his speech, Kambhampati portrayed Odisha as a region where history, spirituality, and natural beauty intersect. He remarked, “From the architectural wonders of Bhubaneswar, Puri, and Konark to the tranquil beaches of Chandipur and Gopalpur, Odisha presents a distinctive amalgamation of experiences.” He further emphasized the verdant forests of Similipal and Koraput, the picturesque Chilika, and the lively tribal customs of Mayurbhanj.
Kambhampati expressed his enthusiasm for Odisha’s artistic heritage, referencing the globally acclaimed Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath, the classical grace of Odissi dance, the detailed Pattachitra artworks, and the colorful appliqué craft of Pipili. He stated, “Every corner of Odisha narrates a tale of devotion, creativity, and resilience.”
Bharat Parv, an event organized each year by the Ministry of Tourism, commemorates the essence of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat by highlighting India’s cultural diversity through exhibitions, culinary delights, handicrafts, music, and dance. This event acts as a meeting point for traditions from all over the country.
