The English novel “The Year She Disappeared” authored by Sangram Keshari Senapati was officially launched at a literary event held in Azimabad, Balasore.
The book was unveiled during the “Abhilasha Open Mic” program organizedat Mission Success institute. The event witnessed the presence of noted guests including poet Abhilipsa Padhi, Utkalika Rout, and AP Shubhkant Samal.
Published by Shubhapallaba Publications, the novel revolves around a college love story and is expected to be released in the Odia language in the near future. This marks Senapati’s debut English novel, adding a new dimension to his literary journey.
The event also featured vibrant participation from young poets and writers of Balasore, who presented their stories and poems. The eventincluded musical performances and stand-up comedy, creating an engaging cultural atmosphere.
Notably, this was the first open mic event organized in Balasore by Abhilasha, and it received an enthusiastic response from participants and attendees alike.
Meanwhile, Senapati’s upcoming Odia novel “Cigarette” is scheduled to be released next week by Timepass Publication, further highlighting his growing presence in contemporary literature.
