Padma Bhushan Dr. Jatin Das is a living legend of the Indian art world. The great artist Jatin Das was born on 2 December 1941 in Baripada, in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. From his childhood, Jatin Das had an extraordinary attraction towards art. The little pencil sketches he made in his school notebooks gradually evolved into fascinating works of art as his talent developed. He pursued his education at the prestigious Sir J. J. School of Art in Mumbai, where he further refined and matured his artistic abilities.
