SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is organizing a five-day long SPIC MACAY Yoga Sessions beginning on 17th June and culminating on the International Day of Yoga, 21st June, 2020 and Parampara series from 20th – 28th June. The event participants will be addressed by the Hon’ble Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu and Governor of Chhattisgarh Smt. Anusuiya Uikey on the 21st June session at 7.30 AM.
SPIC MACAY aims to bring the youth closer to Yoga and Indian cultural heritage and help alleviate the mental stress caused due to the current pandemic. A total of around one lakh people from all over the world have registered for these sessions, and they will be streamed live daily from 17th to 21st June on the SPIC MACAY YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/user/spicmacay from 4:00 to 7:30 am IST.
SPIC MACAY is further organizing the Parampara Utsav from 20th to 28th June 2020 with sessions by young artists taking forward the legacy of Indian Classical Music. As part of this, participants will experience Live interactions and concerts as detailed below.

22nd June – Nandini Shankar (Grand Daughter of legendary violinist Dr N Rajam )
23rd June – Pt. Rupak Kulkarni (Flute)
24th June – Deepak Maharaj, Kathak (Son of Kathak dance legend Pt. Birju Maharaj)
25th June – Ambi Subramaniam, Violin (Son of Dr. L Subramaniam)
26th June – Pt Salil Bhatt on Mohan Veena (Son of Pt Vishwamohan Bhatt) and many more.
