Celebrating 14 Years of Excellence: Manipal University Jaipur Holds Its 12th Convocation. MUJ Hosts Grand 12th Convocation; 3,508 Graduates Honoured Over Two-Day Ceremony

Manipal University Jaipur (MUJ) celebrated its 12th Convocation Ceremony with grandeur and pride on November 15 and 16, 2025, honouring the academic achievements of 3,508 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes. The two-day event began with an impressive academic procession, followed by the ceremonial rendition of the Manipal Kulgeet, marking the formal commencement of the celebrations on the university campus. Graduates, their families, faculty members, and distinguished guests from academia and industry came together to witness the proud occasion.During thiscelebration degrees were conferred upon 3,007 undergraduates, 377 postgraduates, and 124 doctoral awardees. A total of 48 Gold Medals were presented this year, including 35 at the undergraduate level, 12 at the postgraduate level, and one at the doctoral level, recognising exceptional academic merit.
The concluding day of the convocation was graced by Chief Guest Venkatachalam Iyer, MD & CEO of Tata AIA Life, in the august presence of Chairperson MUJ S. Vaitheeswarn, President MUJ Niti Nipun Sharma, Pro-President Karunakar A. Kotegar, Provost Nitu Bhatnagar, Registrar Amit Soni, Controller of Examinations Dasari Nagaraju, and all Deans of the university. Chairperson S. Vaitheeswarn conferred degrees to the graduating students, while the Chief Guest joined him in presenting the Gold Medals and PhD degrees to meritorious students and toppers. Pro-President Karunakar A. Kotegar delivered the welcome address, conveying his best wishes to the graduates as they embarked on new journeys.
President Niti Nipun Sharma highlighted MUJ’s remarkable progress over its 14-year journey and expressed gratitude to parents for their continued trust in the institution. Advising the graduating students, he encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to their parents, society, and the nation, underscoring the responsibility that accompanies academic success.
Chief Guest Mr. Venkatachalam Iyer praised MUJ’s world-class infrastructure, expressing delight at witnessing such an advanced and vibrant educational ecosystem in India. Addressing the graduates, he encouraged them to contribute meaningfully to society and emphasized that a progressive and successful life requires respect for innovation and the right balance of skills, talent, and loyalty.

The opening day of the convocation, held on November 15, was graced by Chief Guest N. Kalaiselvi, Director General, CSIR and Secretary, DSIR. She applauded MUJ’s nurturing academic environment, exceptional infrastructure, and impressive academic journey, acknowledging the university’s rapid rise as a centre of excellence. During the ceremony, Controller of Examinations Dasari Nagaraju administered the oath to the graduating students, reaffirming their commitment to ethical professional conduct. Registrar Amit Soni concluded the event with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, academic council members, Deans, Directors, HoDs, faculty, students, and parents for contributing to the success of the convocation.
The two-day celebration concluded with the recitation of the National Anthem, after which the campus resonated with joy, pride, and heartfelt celebrations as graduates and their families commemorated one of the most significant milestones of their academic journey.
