Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leaders extend birthday wishes to Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, praising his efforts toward state growth, youth empowerment, and good governance

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed birthday greetings to Odisha’s Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, commending his initiatives aimed at advancing the State’s growth trajectory and empowering its youth.
In a message posted on X, PM Modi remarked, “Birthday wishes to Odisha’s diligent Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Ji. His remarkable efforts to improve Odisha’s growth trajectory and empower the youth of the State are commendable. I pray for his long and healthy life dedicated to serving the people.”
Mohan Charan Majhi, who was born in 1972 in the Keonjhar district, is a member of the Santal tribal community. He began his political career as a sarpanch in 1997.
In the 2024 Assembly elections, Majhi secured victory from the Keonjhar seat for the fourth consecutive time and was subsequently appointed as the Chief Minister of Odisha.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended his birthday wishes to the Odisha Chief Minister, stating, “In alignment with Prime Minister Modi’s vision, you are consistently propelling public service and good governance in the State. I pray to Lord Jagannath for your long and prosperous life.”
Union Road Transport & Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed his sentiments on X, saying, “Sincere birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi ji. I pray to God for your good health, longevity, and a joyful life.”
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took to social media to convey, “Sincere birthday greetings to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi ji. May Lord Jagannath bless you with excellent health and a long life; this is my prayer.”
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, while extending birthday wishes to CM Mohan Charan Majhi, remarked, “Coming from a modest background, your unwavering commitment to the marginalized and the impoverished reflects a vision rooted in empathy, service, and integrity.”
“May the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath continue to illuminate this path of selfless service for the people of Odisha. Wishing you good health and ongoing success in public service,” she concluded.
