Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA), Puri launched a website on the eve of Rath Yatra or Car Festival of Lord Jagannath. The site www.shreejagannatha.in was launched in a simple ceremony by Gajapati Maharaja Dibyasingha Deb at Sri Nahar, Puri.
The website is interactive and informative and a well-designed web platform on Lord Jagannath.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has lauded the attempt. He said in a message, “It gives me immense pleasure to learn the SJTA is launching its new website on the eve of Sri Gundicha, 2019 with a range of new features and useful information. I hope it will benefit devotees across the world”.
The Gajapati Maharaj said the website attempts to authentically represent the ancient heritage and tradition of Lord Jagannath along with various information and data related to the temple which would be of interest to devotees around the world. Puri MLA Jayant Sarangi was present on the occasion along with Chief Administrator SJTA Pradipta Kumar Mohapatra, ADG Law and Order Sanjeeb Panda, IG Central Range Soumendra Kumar Priyadarshi, District Collector Balwant Singh, SP Umashankar Das and other senior officials of SJTA and the District Administration.
The site is designed and developed by Suyog Computech, an IT and ITES service provider from Odisha.
