Integrated Volunteers Network (IVN) celebrated India Volunteer Day, Pan India and 2nd edition of India Volunteer Awards at New Delhi, with a mission to Identify, Integrate and Intensify the volunteer power of India . Integrated Volunteers Network observed 13th January 2020 as India Volunteers Day at Deshbandhu College marking a new dawn in the aspect and ethics of Volunteerism in India. This 4th India Volunteers Day was made unique and remarkable with recognition to 11 distinguished India Volunteers for their voluntary contribution in their respective field with 2nd edition of India Volunteer Awards under 11 categories. The day was kicked off with an classical Odishi dance performance, Abhinaya followed by melodious song HUM HONGE KAMYAB by Anushree Dash, India Volunteers. The inauguration ceremony was led by the Volunteers of India Prof. Madan Mohan Verma, President, Interfaith Foundation of India, Chief Guest, Shubhro Roy, Mentor, IVN, Manoj Kumar Dash, Founder & CEO, Integrated Volunteer Network & Mission India Volunteer, Shiv Kumar Nigam, Deputy Director (OL), Ministry of Electronics & IT, Guest of Honour (Keynote Speaker), Major General Dilawar Singh, Director General, NYKS, Guest of Honour (Motivational Speaker)VP Mahawar, Ex Director (Onshore), ONGC, Guest of Honour, Rajeev Aggarwal, Principal, Deshbandhu College, Delhi University, Guest of Honour, Srikant Bhatia, Editor, Sambad Sindhi, Guest of Honour, Dr.Reeva Paul Gupta, Director, Tech Mahindra Foundation, Guest of Honour. The inauguration was marked with Gift a life (Gifting a Plant), Launch of www.ivn.org.in web portal, India Volunteer Mobile Application and release of 2019 India Volunteer Book – Stories of Inspiration.

Representatives from government, non government, NCC, NSS, NYKS, Network, corporate sector as well as individual change makers made their presence felt through their innovative presentation, influencing and thought provoking deliveries and inspirational suggestions. Besides panel discussions involving participants from a mixed diaspora, the India Volunteer Day was mesmerized by cultural presentation from an inclusive plethora of artists. Volunteers from Deshbandhu College, NSS volunteers, NCC, NYKS, Academic & social institutions had their continued presentations that revolves around the theme of voluntarism, patriotism and selfless service. These presentations invoked feeling of equality, inclusion and social bonding for a resilient environment. Active participation of more than 300 representatives from pan India attended to the celebration and made the IVD2020 a successful.
Towards the end of the day 11 awardees, selected from among 213 entries received from all over India, were recognised for their voluntary spirit, contributions and actions. With this, IVN laid down the foundation for a never-ending chain of recognition to the voluntary humane activities in days to come. The entire initiative has brought 50+ partnerships from all sectors to think, connect, integrate, intensify and strengthen the volunteerism towards sustainability & resilient India. This initiative was lauded and praised by all and one. Finally the day was called off with a Vote of Thanks by Manoj Dash, India Volunteer.

3 National Level India Volunteer Ambassador were appointed to lead the India Volunteer Mission from National Level, New Delhi. They were Inclusion: Rishika Sharma, Female : Monika Ingudam and Male : Pradeep Kumar Panda, Odisha.
IVN is a volunteer’s network in India with individual and organizational participation to secure voluntary commitments towards sustainable goals, to save and help in the nation’s growth. The IVN network ensures cross communication, collection, capacity, research & dissemination of knowledge for building a resilient India.
