One Plus, the Chinese smartphone maker had globally launched its latest flagships, the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro recently. The launch was an online-only event. Both smartphones feature advanced design and specs worthy of flagship grade phones. The India prices were not announced at the global launch. Though a tweet by one plus India asked everyone to wait as India does not not go by dollars but by rupees and it put many guessing their brains out at a possible pricing of the premium smartphones. Finally, the company has announced India prices of both phones and they are sweet!

The company announced the One Plus 8 base model will be sold at Rs 41,999 for an India exclusive 6GB + 128GB variant while other prices are Rs 44,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, and Rs 49,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant.
Similarly, the entry level One Plus 8 Pro featuring 8GB RAM+128GB storage would cost Rs. 54,999. The premium model of One Plus 8 Pro sporting 12GB RAM and 256GB will set you back by Rs 59,999.
Considering the flagship killer tag of One Plus given by the company itself and received by fans worldwide, the prices are much more aggressive and cheaper in India than in the US. It will be interesting to see the competition between Samsung and One Plus in the Indian space in the coming days once lockdown is over and sales begin. One Plus 8 and One Plus 8 Pro will be available for purchase online on Amazon marketplace.
