Mirror of Life explores how difficult situations teach growth, non-judgment, and inner peace, inspired by life lessons and the Bhagavad Gita
Monalisa Dash Dwibedy

Always remember that every difficult moment is a test for you. It’s a moment or situation created by the universe, and the expectation is that you should come out of it gracefully by learning the lesson. Until you learn the lesson, the universe may put you in the same situation again and again until your soul’s learning is complete. It’s very important to understand that you should not have any grudge for the people who played a part in making the situation difficult for you. The Universe plotted the situation for your learning, and other people just played a part. So start every day new, as if you are a newborn and just see the world and people around you with fresh eyes. In your new day, try not to carry any bitterness towards anyone, but always remember the lesson the universe taught you.
For example, if you do not want to waste your time with people who are always in a negative mindset, just stay away from such people, but do not be judgmental about them or carry any bitterness towards them. Here, the universe is actually trying to teach you just this:” Do not form an opinion about anyone, or do not be judgmental. “ When you do that successfully, then only your learning is complete. You will see that you are no longer facing the same people or situation. As long as you carry even a little bitterness towards others, the universe will bring you close to the same type of people many times until you learn the lesson.
In my above example, I am trying to explain that it’s not always easy to know what the universe is trying to teach us. It is always required for us to avoid difficult people and negative situations to save our time, energy, and peace of mind. However, at the same time, we should not form any opinion about the people who are making our life difficult, such as “ He /She told me this, He/She is a bad person”.
It’s always natural for all of us that we first form an opinion about someone whom we do not like, and then we avoid them, isn’t it? The universe wants to teach us that we should avoid that person without forming an opinion about that person as a “ bad person “. If we carry that impression that someone is a bad person based on one situation, we will not be able to see anything good in that person ever. The universe wants us not divide the world based on our likes and dislikes.
In the Bhagavat Gita, it is said :
duhkhesv anudvigna-manah
sukhesu vigata-sprhah
vita-raga-bhaya-krodhah
sthita-dhir munir ucyate
(One who is not disturbed despite the threefold miseries, who is not very elated when there is happiness, and who is free from attachment, fear, and anger, is called a sage of steady mind.)
I know that the above is not easy to do. We should try to do it for our own benefit. We should just experience the true nature of people who are making our lives difficult and leave them on their own without being judgmental about them. We must definitely stay away from such people, but let’s not be bitter and classify them as “ bad people “. If we do that, we are stopping our own souls’ learning and evolution. That’s all.
So from now onwards, try to pay attention to every situation. If the same type of unpleasant situations are happening again & again, instead of reacting, try to understand what exactly the universe is trying to teach you. Only then will you be able to respond to the situation by learning the lesson faster.
