Gram Vikas has been honored with the CASCA-2025 (Climate Action and Sustainability Conference and Awards) for ‘Leadership in Community Engagement for Sustainability’ at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi.
On behalf of Gram Vikas, Nirmal Chandra Mohanty and Chandrika Patnaik received the award from Chetan Singh Solanki, Founder, Energy Swaraj Foundation and Dr Aishwarya Mahajan, Managing Trustee and President, M3M Foundation.
Gram Vikas continues to work in partnership with communities in Odisha and neighboring Jharkhand, transforming rural life for decades. Through effective partnerships with the government, local leaders, and rural institutions, Gram Vikas is leading sustainable development efforts, including creating infrastructure for rural areas and preserving biodiversity.

Gram Vikas is a rural development organization that has been partnering with marginalized and backward communities of Odisha since 1979 and has continued its work towards bringing about sustainable change. The journey has impacted the lives of over 50 lakh people in more than 8,000 villages.
