What is an ICC world Cup?
Cricket World Cup has been the most elating and most adorable tournament by people of the world and by cricket fans more than any other tournament like Ashes, Asia Cup or Inter-nation cricket series. ICC World Cup is organized in every four years to maintain inquisitiveness amongst the people for this game,
ICC World Cup was started in 1975 and organized by England & wales, which was a one-day match series with 60 over per side, unlike today which is 50 overs. The first three world cup were organized in England & Wales and named after Prudential Cup after the name of its sponsor’s Prudential Plc.
The ICC WC 2019 is the 12th session of the World Cup and England is organizing it for the fifth time. Most number of world Cup have been crowned by team Australia.

Only 10 nations to participate
Previously there were at least 12 nation participate in the World Cup, but this time only 10 nation is participating in the Mega cricket tournament.
No quarter final this year
This tournament has decided to witness semi finals directly. There is no schedule for quarter final this time.
Zimbabwe to miss their world cup for the first time
Since 1987, Zimbabwe was actively participating in the ICC WC, 2019. This is the first time when Zimbabwe is not participating in the world time since 1987. Ireland is also missing out from the tournament this time after participating continuously for three terms.

Along with perks of the cricket World War there are certain news that gives sadness along the faces of the cricket lovers and that is the retirement of the great players. This time M.S Dhoni, the EX- captain of team India is bidding farewell from cricket. The fast bowler Dale Steyn is too playing the last World Cup of his Career. West Indies fails to qualify directly to the tournament
It has never been in history that three times winner West Indies failed to qualify directly but in this World Cup the team was not able to qualify to the tournament directly rather it qualifies from the qualifier.

Trophy of this cricket World Cup, 2019 will be of two feet in height, which is made from silver and gold. It contains a golden globe which is tackled by three silvers columns and total weight of the trophy is believed to be 11 KG.
