He outlined several expansion projects being pursued by NALCO, including the fifth stream expansion of its alumina refinery at Damanjodi and development of the Pottangi Bauxite Mines. The company is also working on increasing its captive coal capacity and has proposed expansion of its aluminium smelter and captive power plant at Anugola.
NALCO is also pursuing initiatives related to critical minerals, resource and energy security, circular economy, digital transformation, waste-to-wealth and renewable energy, Singh said adding that these initiatives were aimed at improving resource security and strengthening the company’s operational resilience.
Singh expressed his gratitude to the Government of India, particularly the Ministry of Mines, for its continued guidance and support. He also acknowledged the cooperation extended by the Government of Odisha and local administrations in facilitating the Company’s operations and growth journey.

He also recognised the role of communities living around NALCO’s operational areas and said their cooperation remained important to the company’s activities.
Singh attributed the company’s performance during FY26 to the collective efforts of its employees, contractual workforce and other stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, customers, suppliers, business associates, consultants and joint venture partners.
“The record performance of FY 2025–26 is a collective achievement. Behind every milestone achieved by NALCO is the commitment, capability and collective spirit of its people,” Singh said.
